Call of the wild, Muskoka

The call of the wild

See the wilderness setting in a new way with a forest walk facilitated by a local naturalist. Learn to photograph flora and fauna, and to identify the sights and sounds of Muskoka. Then gather around for a cookout at dusk, listening for the winsome call of loons settling in for the night. Dinner is served al fresco, and as the stars blink awake, a local astronomer offers a glimpse into the constellations via high-power telescope, sharing legends of Canada’s night sky along the way. This unforgettable day of learning is topped off with a birds of prey exhibit featuring some of nature’s most graceful, agile creatures.
